Ideal Wine Company

The Item Any Wine Enthusiast Must Have in Their Wardrobe

Are you a wine enthusiast who loves a glass of red but has a nasty tendency to get clumsy after your second or third helping? If so, the Ideal Wine Company is about to make your day by telling about a new white shirt that won’t stain if you spill red wine on it.

How do you get a red wine stain out?

It’s happened to all of us at some point. There’s no wine enthusiast in the world who can say that they haven’t felt a burst of dismay after realising that they’ve spilt a glass of quality red wine all over their favourite white shirt.

How do you get the stain out? There are many myths about how to expunge red wine from a white piece of cloth.  They include pouring white wine over it to cancel out the stain, rubbing it with vinegar and scrubbing it until your hands bleed. But what would you say if we told you that you may be able to drink your red wine and spill it too?

The Unstainable™ White Shirt

The Daily Mail has reported that clothing brand Elizabeth Clarke has created a “ground-breaking” unstainable white shirt. It’s actually called “The Unstainable™ White Shirt.”

The company has described the product as “a shirt that truly meets all of your needs: it’s beautiful, affordable, fit to flatter a woman’s body, washable, and actually wearable in your everyday life.” It has the ability to repel oil and liquid-based stains including those caused by red wine.

How can you make a shirt repel stains?

How is this possible? It seems like something out of Doctor Who or Star Wars. The Mail explained that the shirt utilises nanotechnology to deal with oil or water-based liquids before they get a chance to soak into the fabric.

Elizabeth and Clarke explained how the technology works. They said that “using a proprietary garment finish that works at the molecular level, the finish zeros in on fabric fibres using tiny ‘whiskers’ that are 100,000 times smaller than a grain of sand.” The company elaborated that “the treatment keeps water and oil-based liquids suspended above the fabric, never allowing stains to touch the silky fibres.”

Elizabeth and Clarke to start manufacturing The Unstainable™ White Shirt

This is amazing. If you’re a wine enthusiast, this is one piece of clothing you need to stock in your wardrobe. You can’t get one yet but you might soon be able to, as Elizabeth and Clarke recently founded a kickstarter campaign to raise money to begin manufacturing The Unstainable™ White Shirt. The company has already eclipsed their goal of $30,000 three times over in just four days!
